Judith Ann Keffer, 66, of Dawson, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 5, 1946, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Wilma Stenger Showman. She was Protestant by faith and attended Vanderbilt Church of Christ. Judith enjoyed life and liked spending time with her husband and sons. She loved her pet birds, dogs and cats and she fed any strays that passed her way. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William H. Keffer Jr.; two sons, Keith D. Keffer and his wife, Dianne, of Lazerath, and Kevin D. Keffer, of Dawson; two grandchildren, Anna and Alexander Keffer; two brothers, Thomas Showman and his wife, Janice, of Shoemakerville, Pa., and Roger Showman, of Stoneridge, N.Y.; sisters-in-law, Lee Berouty, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Dottie Davis, of Connellsville; and many nieces and nephews.
